About Radyr cricket club
Our History
Founded in 1890, Radyr CC stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of cricket, sportsmanship and community. For generations players have honed their skills and forged unbreakable bonds that last a lifetime. A commitment to fair play, teamwork and inspiring the next generation carries forward the legacy of those that came before us. the story of Radyr CC is in simple terms a love for the game of cricket.
Where we are
Nestled beside a tranquil stretch of the river Taff, Radyr CC boasts two grounds and all weather net facilities with bowling machines available for members.
The newly electrified valley line (Cardiff to the head of the Rhondda valley) runs along side the ground with Radyr station at the entrance to the ground. Regular trains enable quick access to Cardiff (15 mins) and all local universities.
What we do
At Radyr cricket club, we offer cricket to all ages and skill levels. Whether you're looking to get youngsters involved through the Allstar and Dynamo ECB program, enjoy some womens softball cricket, test your self in Division 1 of the South East Wales cricket league or just want to give cricket a try we have something for you.
